Step 1 — Cleanse

Apply Maylo Refresh Shampoo to wet hair. Massage thoroughly through the hair and scalp to create a lather, then rinse. Repeat if required.

Step 2 — Condition

Apply Maylo Smooth Conditioner through the hair, focusing on the mid-lengths and ends. Leave for 1–3 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

Use the complete system as often as your hair requires.

MAYLO REFRESH SHAMPOO

• Uses decyl glucoside and cocamidopropyl betaine as its principal cleansing surfactants, without traditional sulphate surfactants such as SLS or SLES. Surfactants surround and suspend excess oil and styling-product build-up so they can be rinsed from the hair and scalp. View the surfactant research
• Contains glycerin and glyceryl oleate to complement the cleansing system. Glycerin is a recognised humectant, and a double-blind human study found that a separate 20% glycerin cream significantly increased measured hydration after ten days. View the clinical study
• Formulated with rosemary, nettle and green-tea extracts. Rosemary has been investigated in human hair research, including a six-month study involving a separate leave-on rosemary-oil treatment. This research did not test a rinse-off shampoo or rosemary extract. View the clinical study

MAYLO SMOOTH CONDITIONER

• Contains behentrimonium methosulfate, a targeted cationic conditioning ingredient. Scientific research explains that cationic conditioners are attracted to damaged, negatively charged areas of the hair fibre, helping reduce friction, static and combing force to improve manageability. • Despite its name, behentrimonium methosulfate is not a sulphate cleansing surfactant such as SLS or SLES. It belongs to a different class of positively charged conditioning ingredients designed to coat and lubricate the hair surface. View the hair-conditioning research
• Combines behentrimonium methosulfate with cetearyl alcohol and glycerin. Conditioner research explains that cationic ingredients are commonly combined with fatty alcohols to create conditioning structures that support softness, reduce friction and make hair easier to comb.
